Police stopping Mothorhomers in the Lakes Covid (1 Viewer)

Stopped at Lake District Hawkshead this morning, police pulled up at the side of me on the car park somewhat "starsky and hutch style" jumped out the car left doors open, proceeded to take my reg.
I dont think they realised I was in the back, just getting ready to pull off after spending 150 of my hard earned in the craghoppers/regatta and chocolate factory shop.

I opened my door and asked them what the score was they said covid restriction checks, wanted my name, address took my reg, who I was travelling with etc.

Then huggie bear walked by, aswell as captain dobie.

took my details and I was on my way ( yes I know you dont have to give details but I didnt see no harm)

Im tier 2 btw travelling on my own

They have been stopping the odd vehicle between Edinburgh and East Lothian
Seems fairly random and on the smaller roads
Person we herd from didn't have any hassle though just asked reason for travel and where they were going
