Download the Campercontact app, it lists quite a few places in Poland.

There seem to be a lot of campsites but there are also aires (shown with the black symbol).

We live in South Poland

You did not say which areas you are interested in - North-Coast and Lakes? Or South Krakow, Wroclaw, Auschwitz?

Also how long have you got, because it is a big country and while the Main Motorways are quite fast they do not connect all the country.

To answer about Aires and wildcamping, you have had some answers already.

We have had the MH here for 7 years and have only used wildcamping in Poland. It is technically illegal, but then it is in most ex-Communist countries, but I think because they have not repealed the law, which was probabbly to stop 'spying. We have never had a problem and there are plenty of places to pull in.

Somebody else can tell you more about Aires. I think a lot of campsites are more catering for Tents. There are still not many Polish-reg MHs and most are 15-20 years old. Our N+B 'A' Class stands out like a sore thumb most of the time - but being RHD is hopefully too conspicuous to steal.:)

Shopping is easy and cheap, for food and booze - lots of choice of S/Markets - Carrefour, LeClerc, Lidl, Aldi, but local bakers and delicatessens are also good.

Is your MH over 3.5t? If so you need to know about the VIA Toll box system for paying on some roads, but nothing like as expensive as Austria

I have only been useful on the wildcamping but if there is general info you need just ask.

Hi thanks for you reply
We intend travelling from Dresden to Krakov and Auschwitz. We may then head for Warsaw before re-entering Germany

Hi Petros, We have been to Poland on three occasions the last being in 2015. Click on the link to see our map and click on the kangaroo icons to see the places and blogs associated with the place. We stayed in 6 campsites and 8 carparking area's. Never had any trouble and no-one batted an eyelid when we were there. Our trip in 2015 does not go where you intend but it gives you an idea. The average price of the campsites were 11 euros per night.
We found some places using the Camper Contact App and would recommend that as well as the new camping car info app, the old one was crap, the new one is good. On our trip last year we also used the Park4Night app which was great and we found many quiet out of the way places to spend the night. In eastern Europe we also stay in restaurant car parks. Ask them if you can stay the night in their car park if you have a meal there. Very cheap food and an overnight stay, Bargain!!. Have never been refused and have had some great meals. Hope this helps. Our earlier trips to Poland are also on the blog, just look up Poland in the previous blog section. Not as much detail but also gives you idea's of where to stay and places to visit. We do love Poland that is why we have been there 3 times. Enjoy your trip.

Below are the 3 Apps which will help you find some places. They have free versions but it is worthwhile paying a few euros to get the full ones.
