Arrived in Santander today on the Pont Aven. Bang on time. Bow doors opened at 1400 and we had cleared passport control and customs within 10 minutes. Stamped the UK passport. Not interested in the fridge or vaccination certificates. Very friendly. Headed up to Santillana del Mar for a night.
26c with blue skies.

25'c anyway.

We are taking the Plymouth / Santander ferry soon. It is our first time not using the tunnel so may I ask a couple of questions?

Were you able to park up at the port when you got there, I want to leave plenty of time for hold ups, so if things run smoothly we may get there two or three hours early? Second was that the Spanish customs who weren't interested in the fridge or vaccination certificates? Did you have any water in the tank or did you fill up when you get there? Lastly we also plan to head for Santillana del Mar, did you stop for food en route, or did you get in the town?

Thanks in advance.
