Any suggestions for where to park and overnight for the fireworks?

We plan to spend the day in Plymouth sightseeing and then stay the night for the wiz bangs.
With two young kids, I'd prefer not to have to move the van late at night, or have a trek to get back to it.
I was wondering about Elphinstone Car Park, which seems to be 24h, and has no height restriction, but cannot find anything on the T&Cs for parking, and whether sleeping in vehicles is permitted.

TIA for any thoughts!

Good luck finding somewhere near to the event. You might be Ok on that park if you can find a space but tens of thousands turn up for the display. If you don't mind being some distance away Jennycliff has a car park but you would need to arrive a day early.

Alternatively, Faraday Road near Go Outdoors has a level bit at the top but it is some distance from the action.

We only live about five miles away but have always been put off by the hassle of parking to go.

We are staying at a C&Mh club CL a few miles outside Plymouth which is on a bus route.

They are worth seeing. We used to go when our daughter worked in Plymouth. She had a parking pass for one of the veterinary hospital’s branch surgery so we could park there and walk.
We did once go to Jennycliffe but had to park a long way away even arriving early, wouldn’t take anything bigger than a car up that way on firework night.
Are the youngsters old enough to enjoy fireworks? You will need to find somewhere elevated for them to see above the crowds if they are only little.
Like DBK, I cannot think of suitable MH parking for overnight.
