Please Consider Participation In My Questionnaire For Full / Semi-full Timers, Which Is Part Of My Masters Degree Research / Dissertation. (1 Viewer)

My name is Jack. I have lived in my off grid, self converted, Peugeot Boxer van for some time while studying, having previously using my van for holidays. My experience of living in my van, meeting others doing the same, and my experiences on van life websites inspired me to conduct research into how and why people live Van Life for part of my Masters Degree in Environmental Health.

If you live full time or semi full time I would love for you to tell me about your experiences by filling out this short questionnaire, which will take around 15 minutes. It will ask questions about your van, where you stay, and where you lived before vanlife.

Participation is totally voluntary and you can withdraw yourself and have your data destroyed by editing the form to remove consent. For further assistance email me on the address provided, before 6th July 2022. Participation is also anonymous. I will not know who has given me the answers. All of this is explained on a Participant Information Sheet provided before the questionnaire.

Hi Jack. I’ve just completed your questionnaire. A couple of points:

1. There is no option for having fulltimed more than 8 years. Maybe an ‘8 years +‘ category could be included.

2. You can only select one option for disposal of grey waste, whereas you can select multiple options for the other disposal categories.

I have filled it in to the best of my ability tho’.

I'll add an "other" for years full timing and change the format of the grey waste.

Few spots out towards Garrforth, Selby, Pool. Baildon looks good, but never stayed there.

Unfortunately collecting email addresses is a requirement so you can withdraw from the study if you wish and this a demand of my universities ethics committee.

But if you don't want to participate that's fine too.

Just had a look as we lived in the van when in between house sales/purchase.
Just noticed that you only have 2 leisure battery options. I have gel batteries, so neither lead acid or lithium
Shall I say that I don’t know?

You could just set up a free email address just for this and never use it again.

Gel are a sort of lead/acid as are AGM

Unfortunately I'm back in brick because my girlfriend decided to move up here with me, and van living was no longer practical with us each having a job, me studying and the dog.

I miss it very much!

It's a struggle to find academic research papers on the subject.
