please be careful in rome

    all motorhomers
    please be careful
    we had our hymer -694 reg k189xfx stolen in rome last friday
    we were left with our 2 dogs on the streets.....we were on an 6-12 month trip 3 months in and we lost everything
    so beaware

    intend to buy another on return and carry on ....dont let the bastards grind you down
    we had a cat1 imobiliser great lot of use that was

    God how awful :Angry: I assume you had gone for a walk with your dogs and returned to find it gone. I'm so glad your dogs are OK 'tho how you can live for the next few days and get back to UK I don't know.

    That's horrible. I hope your insurers do a good job for you. Did they organise accommodation etc or were your left to sort yourselves out.

    :swear: that must have been terrible, I cant imagine how you must have felt, hope you get everything sorted and you have a good insurance company, keep us informed and hope its not too long before you are on the road again. Gail + Denis:thumb::thumb:

    So sorry to hear your news. What a shock. Were you in a site or a sosta? At least you have not lost your dogs. Your motorhome is replaceable, your dogs are not. Not much comfort, I know.
    Hope your insurers can sort you out quickly. Keep us posted about your progress.
