My Hymer shower screen is the ' beam me up Scottie ' version. It hangs from the rail. I've noticed that where it attaches at the top with 3 bolts that the plastic (acrylic?) is cracking. What would people use to strengthen it? It's not visible as it's behind some trim so some form of tape might do or sticking on an additional layer. I don't want to risk using the wrong sort of glue and degrading the plastic as I expect that they are a fortune to replace.

many many years! since I was a kid
first drill a small hole at the end of each crack to stop it travelling. Then bond a strip of plastic along the weak point with sikaflex or puraflex

Thanks, the cracks travel to the edge as the holes are only 15mm from the top.
