Just booked 4 nights from 25th May on a deluxe extra large pitch at Plassey near Wrexham. Anyone been? any good?
Got the site from Best of British. No problem for availability on our dates.

We stayed there just before covid . Its ok nice golf course and 19th hole you can have a drink in . Swimming pool and a couple of shops. Over rated in my opinion we wouldn’t return.

its nice and clean and well organised
Its a different place/feel at weekends , compared to mid-week which is when you are going
It will be getting pretty “lively” by the Sat morning as you leave, especially as its a Bank Holiday with the influx of children

in summary, it is pretty good, but not as good as the operator thinks it is....if you know what I mean
Only 45 mins from you but go the back way (Tarporiey) as the Vicars Cross roadworks are a ‘mare

Site Facilities are good, not sure when the toilet blocks open, some of it depends on Welsh elections tomorrow.

Thanks for that. On our short trips we will only go mid week.
Being new to this lark we want to try as many different places as possible. We expect some to be good, ok, or bad.
Want to book first then ask what people think. Too many times we have asked first then chose not to go only to find out the site is ok. People have their opinions and look and expect different things. It's nice to get them but one has to read between the lines and have a look see oneself.
Noted about going "back way".
