Having been in Crete for 5 months we are now planning our route home in September and are currently favouring the following sites. Any comments on our choices would be welcome.
And before you say 'don't plan just go with the flow', I used to be a project manager so find it impossible not to have a plan (even if it changes)! Plus it's important that we find dog friendly sites.

Mainland Greece - Kato Gatzea, Camping Sikia
Ferry from Igoumenitsa to Bari - camping on board
Italy - Rosetta Degli Abruzzi - Camping Gilda
Italy - Lake Trasimeno - Camping Kursaal (stayed here before so we know it's good)
Italy - Lago di Caldonazzo - Camping Lago di Levico
Austria - Natter See - Camping Natter See
Germany - Berchtesgaden - Campingplatz Allweglehen
This is as far as we have planned. The rest of the journey will be depend on the weather as it will then be October so we'll decide after checking the weather forecast.
