Anyone fitted this particular unit?

The Pioneer website says it is compatible with the 2013 Boxer/Ducato.

Haven't seen a photo of what it looks like after fitting....

Close?
This is the SPH130 DAB fitted in a 2016 Fiat x250. We mainly use it for google maps via apple play and listening to audio through Bluetooth.
I also use it to display my collection of greasy fingerprints.
I’m not sure how close it is to your model.

Had one fitted in my last van though it was an X290. Sorry dont have any pics, though it was quite a neat fit as per brynrics picture above. . It was usefull for the appleplay fuction, & we used it to stream the radio and used Waze with it as well.
The DAB was hit and miss, though its the same on my current van with a Pioneer Avic- EV01.

We have a spa-da160dab fitted which looks similar in a 2014 Ducato base. Having issues with distortion on Android Auto at the moment. Need to get round to doing a software update to the head unit. I tried two after market surrounds as well to make the finish better, but could get neither to fit.

It's fairly easy to get a standard DIN radio to connect electrically to the dash. Depending on what radio you have at the moment, you might not even need an adaptor harness.

The fun is it you've currently got a single DIN radio. You have to Dremel the horizontal divider to allow a double DIN cage to side in.

The other interesting bit can be getting the correct facia trim. It appears that there were several dashboard revisions over the years that subtly changed the profile. I had no issue when I swapped the radio in my 2007 Ducato. But my current van that was 2020 registered was a pain. I ended up grinding bits out of the back of the trim piece, using a heat gun to bend it to the correct profile and it's mostly held in place with 3M acrylic tape.

Thanks. I am going to get a local Auto electrician to do it for me. If I do the job it will be b*ggered.... As long as it fits the hole and can be cobbled to work. I have a 2013 Boxer and Pioneer's website says it fits and list some extra components that might be needed to get the steering wheel controls to work etc. At the moment the standard unit is am FM/AM Radio/Cassette.
