When we plug in on mains radio wont switch off. Had separate isolation switch on last van. Any ideas just have to turn down volume at moment. Has a remote but doesn’t seem to work even with new battery. Thinking when off grid it may drain power!

Interesting problem. Would be useful to those of us who like to look for solutions to such things if you were to post the actual model name and number of the radio and whether or not this is an aftermarket fitting or original equipment. If the former, I would guess that the adaptor harness is wired wrongly. If the latter, it's possibly a setting on the radio itself.

Hi,
Does your model have a detachable faceplate? Mine does and I find that the best way to power it down without losing any settings.

Morning collecting moho from storage later will put model no on later. Also will try taking face off. As far as i know its the original radio to for the vehicle.

Thanks guys sorted power problem. You have to go into the memory on the screen and it comes up power off. So all sorted onto next project how to set firestick up on tv.
