Pinto , Aire , south of/ in Madrid has anyone used it ?

We would like to use this Aire on our way south, in January is it near Madrid, and is it safe do you think, also can you get to the City centre easily , Thanks Tony

It is safe I have stopped there 4 times. The last time was the end of October and it was free and had been for a few weeks.
There is a big shopping complex next to it which includes restaurants and a large Le Clerc supermarket with cheap fuel I paid 1.18 euros a litre

We've used it a few times. No problems.
Suggest you park nearer to the water facilities, as it's further away from the noisy motorway adjacent.
I think it may be too far out to visit Madrid but good for a stopover though.

I intend to stop there again sometime in January.
As has already been said shopping complex and cheap fuel next door.
There is an extensive leisure park at the other side of the aire which is well worth a walk through although it can be a little noisy at weekends with the exercise related music.
Well worth spending more than one night, always felt secure and safe.
