Hi Everyone, I am looking for a front door for my right hand drive 1991 Pilote as it has seen better days and the window lowering mechanism and frame are rusted.

Any pointers and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

As it’s an aged vehicle a photo may be useful so that we can give you pointers.
I assume it may look like a Talbot or a Fiat from that era so it should be easily sourced

is this any good?
I managed to get the window motor working but there is corrosion in the metal framework and one part is missing (picture 4) and this causes it all to stick and then its a pain to get it closed again.

do you think you can assist
Tony

Hi Tony, it’ll be easier to fix the window than it will be to source a door which may have the same problems.
Doors for that model would be as scarce as hens teeth

Hello everyone! Sorry for the intrusion but I have a very important question. I bought an identical motorhome only that the floor was covered and therefore they covered up the chassis number...Could someone send me a photo of yours to see the exact location? They told me it should be on the floor next to the passenger seat. Many thanks to anyone who can help me

I’ve sent a message to the buyer of my van who imported it into Ireland and had a bit of a job finding the chassis number.
I’ll report back when I get more info

I’m told by a friend it’s underneath the hand brake. You may have to lift some flooring

Hello! Thanks a lot in the meantime. I tried looking under the handbrake but there is nothing. The engineer told me that it must be on the right side next to the passenger seat. Maybe they are all on the right because the hand brake is on the left being an Italian vehicle.Il punto è che primera di breaker tutto il pavimento en legno nuovo vorrei sapere più o menos dov'è il punto esatto, ma a questo punto no so se sarà una questione facile . Comunque sia a dispensar da tutto, grazie mille .😊
