Okay, I am slowly working my way round the MH, now I am on to the fresh water. I have a hose (with filler cap) and can fill it, which is great.
I think I have found the fresh water tank - middle of the garage behind a wooden cover.
BUT how do I empty the fresh water tank of fresh water?
Many thanks.

Have you looked inside the tank, my Burstner has a plug inside.

Now a little one
Unscrew the large black inspection cover on the top of the tank and directly underneath in the bottom of the tank there will be a small plug. It may or may not have a chain attached to it. Pull the plug out to empty the tank.

Don't loose the plug as it's a strange size and replacements are only available through Pilote dealers.... don't ask how I knowšŸ˜‚

So you actually have to put your arm in the fresh water tank to drain some or all of it off?? Really?? Seems a bit Heath Robinson really, that said sometimes the simplest ways are the best. The Adria Sonic has a wheel on the top of the tank, 1/3 of a turn lets 80% of the water out, another 1/3 of a turn lets it all out, another 1/3 of a turn shuts the outletšŸ‘

Yep our Burstener had a turn handle to empty it . But the good old french you put your arm in to empty it, this is after you have raised the bed moved out all your stuff lifted out the shelf and unscrewed the cap simples!

We had the same bung in or tank so I removed it and put an extension pipe and tap on it located to the side of the van so it is easy to access from outside the van.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like a plug, Iā€™ll give that a go tomorrow.
Has anyone put an electric valve on the grey waste and the fresh water drain?

Yes, thank you
Got it one ( and a bit) the Pilote has a bung attached to a bit of bog pull chain, unscrew lid and lift and all the water goes down the drain!

You can fill it up, I think it holds about 120 ltrs but remember that will be another 120kgs of extra weight.

There should be something like one or other of these close to the boileršŸ‘

I think, from memory, on the P740 the boiler drain is in the garage on the nearside, under the shelf at the front. Hope that makes sense. Open the nearside garage door fully, look down to the left and you should see it.

Thanks Andrew. The frost valve is there. I need a better look in the ā€˜obviousā€™ places.

It took me an age to find ours as I didn't listen to the dealer chappy during the handover of our new van - that'll teach me ::bigsmile:
