Hi
Thanks everyone, I must admit I'm a bit wary as even though it's not very large Iv'e never driven any thing other than a car. It's my adventure.

Hi, Indy, and welcome.

I drive our Talbot, and have done since we bought it four years ago. Rob drives a car with an automatic gearbox and prefers not to drive manual gearbox vehicles. I too was a little nervous when we first bought the motorhome but I soon got used to the larger size and I much prefer the higher driving position. We've been all over the UK (including Suffolk!), France and Northern Spain with no mishaps so, don't worry, you'll be fine. Let us know how the first trip goes.

Regards
Val

When things are a bit tight watch your mirrors for what's going on down both sides. Slow and steady and you should be fine.

Hi Emma, I am new to all of this too and am picking up my Mezan on 1st April. How are you liking it so far? Any advice for a newbie?

Hi Stargazer
Good luck with your pick up. I am enjoying getting around though as I picked her up in Oct 14 have only been away twice. My first trip was quite close to home in case I forgot something important, which I did, the wine!

Planning trips for this year now. Keep in touch, we may be able to meet up.

Welcome - and why Emma, unless your name is Mr Knightley, 'cos she married him in Jane Austin' s book. Or did you 'em and ah before buying her?

Hi DevonBee keeper

I have three sons and before they were born I chose Emma as a girls name, it just would not suite them! then I thought years later I will have an Emma in the family. So no, I did not em & ah it was a done deal.
