well i've finally become a motorhomer,picked up the kontiki today and very pleased with it.it handles quite well for a big beast,came the easy way home all dual carriageways and motorways about 170 miles used just under half a tank,supplied by the dealer which was a pleasant surprise.4 new michelins as well.can't wait to get out in it

Enjoy, it a great feeling , give yourself time to get used to length , height and width. Any questions fire away , there's enough knowledge on here to fill a whole set of Britania encyclopaedias :)

Steady, I am not sure I would go that far.

But hearty congrats to the new Kontiki owner. I can only suggest don't wait for the warm weather to arrive. We are off to a damp wood in Wiltshire this week, then to Sussex.

Don't take no heed of them taking the p#ss about Kon-leeky, I only had 1 leak but Swift fixed it, welcome to fun, from fellow Kontiki

Hi we only got our MH this year although we are now on our second,enjoy it as much as we do (ex caravaners)

sometimes i own 2 or more at a time. but thats because i buy a few to do up and sell at a profit. keeps me entertained and ads a bit to the holiday pot

well the mh is totally dry got all the checks done and the dealers (robsons) have given me a 6 month 5000 mile warranty which covers everything except frost damage so i have to remember to drain it down btw whats the nickname for a bessacarr795 which is the kontikis twin sister
