well i've finally become a motorhomer, picked up the kontiki today and very pleased with it.it handles quite well for a big beast, came the easy way home all dual carriageways and motorways about 170 miles used just under half a tank, supplied by the dealer which was a pleasant surprise.4 new michelins as well.can't wait to get out in it

Enjoy, it a great feeling , give yourself time to get used to length , height and width. Any questions fire away , there's enough knowledge on here to fill a whole set of Britania encyclopaedias :)

Some might even be useful. :)
Steady, I am not sure I would go that far.

But hearty congrats to the new Kontiki owner. I can only suggest don't wait for the warm weather to arrive. We are off to a damp wood in Wiltshire this week, then to Sussex.

well the mh is totally dry got all the checks done and the dealers (robsons) have given me a 6 month 5000 mile warranty which covers everything except frost damage so i have to remember to drain it down btw whats the nickname for a bessacarr795 which is the kontikis twin sister
