Photo Scanner Software (1 Viewer)

I set myself the task this year of scanning our old photos to the laptop. Well its August and haven't started yet lol. The plan was to finish them all before heading back to the UK in October, Time is ticking.

There are good photo scanners available but don't want to spend that much money and happy to spend the time doing them myself. Have tried our Epsom scanner with a single photo at a time, very good image transfer but very slow, around 3 minutes to scan photo. Have found several programs available online, one of which allows to put multiple photos on the bed at the same time and it will separate them, thus saving a lot of time.

Has anyone used ? seems to have good reviews online.

Mac or pc?

I wanted to do it straight onto my mac but looks like theres no download for mac. I have an old windows laptop which should do the job though.

I simply take a photo of the print with a digital camera and transfer to computer, the results may not be quite as good but good enough for my purposes and a lot quicker than scanning.

If you are in mac, then go for a Fujitsu , and use the native scansoft software, will scan many many at at time and also with documents, do two sides at the same time
