i have an old windows phone but just use it solely as a sat nav now, leave it on the dash , no one is going to nick it.

Blowing my own trumpet a bit, but I released an iPhone app just before Christmas, called Mundus. It doesn’t have any locations built in, it’s more for saving your own places. You can make pins for pubs, restaurants, walks, campsites, beaches etc. Free to try, then a small one off cost.
