Apologies if this has been mentioned before. There is a safety recall for Boxers from late 2014 to mid June 2015 regarding the ignition switch connections which can cause loss of ABS, air bag deployment and instrument panel lighting failing. There is a shortage of replacement parts so a wait for 2-3 weeks for parts seems the norm. It's worth noting this probably includes most 2016 model year MHs as their cabs will likely have been built prior to June 2015 as is mine which I took delivery of in December.

It is a hopeless situation that owners get no notice of such recalls. The MH manufacturers know nothing about it and appear not interested as they did not build the cab. Peugeot UK said 'haven't we written to you?'. No, because we are not on any Peugeot database having purchased through a MH dealer and won't be until a main dealer service or a mechanical problem.

Fiat are sending letters out to all the Fiat Ducato owners with exactly the same problem. How do Fiat get all the owners details but Peugeot don't?
