Let me know if your electric steering fails. I fixed the wife's 207 recently and after horror tales on the web I was pleased I did it for £230

Thanks Techno, not heard of that problem before. My car is the 1.4, I have heard many bad things about the 1.6HDI version

Hello, Thank you for the add. I Hope RichardB could tell me how he resolved the code P0603. I have the dreaded Kam Fail code on my Citroen relay coming on , keep clearing it and looking for the fault? Any thoughts?
Thank you
Andrew

Most engine-related problems that show the 'engine' light and that don't force limp mode are focussed on emissions systems hence my comment. Even limp mode is there more to force a dealer visit than to prevent engine damage.

Hello, Thank you for the add. I Hope RichardB could tell me how he resolved the code P0603. I

When I had that error I think it was because it was sat for some time so I reset them and took the van for a long drive up the motorway and give it a good run at 70mph in various gears.

I had cruise control fitted to my current van, and after that the engine light lit and was showing a number of problems including P0603 again - the guy who fitted the CC said that this happens sometimes as it screws the ECU while fitting so again, just reset them all and drove 150 miles home on motorway and they haven't been on since!

(That said I am going in out in the van tomorrow and it hasn't moved for 2 months - sods law a light will come on!)
