Peugeot 1.9td start up. (1 Viewer)

When I start my van - and it always starts easily, it initially makes a slightly metallic sounding and quite loud, scwish, scwish, scwish noise, just for a few seconds after I release the key, then it suddenly stops and all is normal. Has anyone any idea what it can be?

Fan/auxillary belt.
The alternator will be loaded to replace the charge used in starting and the belt may be 'slipping' ever so slightly.
