Our first rally and we loved it, hated having to riving2: home and go back to work :Sad: A huge thank you to everyone that shared their knowledge and experience with us :thanks: hope we didn't come across too naive A special big thank you to Jaws for restoring our power and putting a dent in our credit card :cry-smile: and to Denise for the Opticlear, I am off to buy some more tomorrow :thumb: We took your advice Denise and have just booked on the Lincolnshire show as it's the earliest one we are free to attend. Really looking forward to it and to our trip to the Tour De France I think I am getting the hang of these emoticons :thumb:

Many thanks to our marshals and also Nigel & Pam (Sundowners) for the hard work put in by all of them to make such a great meet at Peterborough .... they even got the weather sorted! :thumb:

It was a pleasure to meet a few new friends along with many [STRIKE]old[/STRIKE] long standing ones. Such a shame though that some of the regulars were missing :Sad:.... most likely they were put off by last year's mud bath.

Thanks to Brisey & Pamelaaaaar, John & Kath, Jim and Sian and everyone else who contributed to the weekend :thumb:. This was our first meet with the funsters and we really enjoyed making some new friends. :thanks: Ray and Joan for being such nice neighbours, sorry we got up so early - not yet retired !!!. Weather and company were great, show was very useful, back to work now and planning next trip. We look forward to meeting up with everyone at the next meet we can get to Paul , Carole, Charlie & Jemma

We really enjoyed the meet, yes the weather helped, but the real sunshine was from smiling Funsters. We had a steady stream of funsters popping into the red gazebo for coffee, biscuits and lollipops. We managed to put loads of faces to names and meet new Funsters. We signed up a few new ones too. Mostly because they walked past our rally area and saw what fun we were having and just had to join. Brisey, Pamelaaar, John and Kath did a great job Marshalling, working hard to ensure everyone was made to feel welcome:thumb:

Thanks to everyone who donated to the raffle and/or bought tickets. We raised £208 which means we now have a second shelter to add tothe one bought by the Chester ralliers. Eddie VanBitz added some great prizes to the table in the shape of Inverters, battery masters and LPG gas Alarms.

A bigs thanks also to Nigel and Pamela who brought along three large communal BBQs as well as extra tentage.

It was a great show, a great rally, we had a ball, and are looking forward to the next one already. :thumb:
