Hi Jim,

We've just booked online too, and will arrive on the Thursday, having travelled the length and breadth of Britain to get there........................well, 14.5 miles of it anyway. :Rofl1:

Peter

From a traders point of view how do you rate Peterborough? Is it motorhome specific....or is there a mixed bag collection of tents and caravans with a few motorhome dealers?

Reason i'm asking is i'm hoping to try and visit one sometime this year and never having been to one before, plus having read posts on the forum from disgruntled punters who went to a "motorhome" show, came away vowing never to go again as it was full of caravans!

I gather you must attend quite a lot as a trader so what in your opinion is amongst the best motorhome shows?

Hi BJ we have been to all the main shows, usually several in a year and have never seen a load of caravans, motorhomes easily out number caravans for sale.

I do remember a complaint but that was at one of the NEC shows I believe.

Olley - Manchester in January is the one that's a waste of time for motorhomers!

You can add us to the list, have just booked and will arrive on 23rd.

Bulletguy, we have been to the last three, we trade at Landrover Shows and some of those are huge, but nothing compared to Peterborough. Don't remember seeing any caravan sales on the showground only motorhomes/fifth wheels and demountables. Also lots of stands selling accessories.

Thanks....just going by what i've read in other threads from folks who seem to be regulars at these 'do's'.

I used to be a regular visitor to a long running established Computer Fair not far from me, but over the past couple of years it has gone rapidly downhill to the point where they now have stalls flogging books, biscuits and sweets.....at a computer fair???

Desperate times!

Definitely looking forward to Peterborough - and to Newark as well.
