We've just booked into a campsite near Granville in Normandy and been asked for our dogs passport which was photocopied and duly returned to us. This is a first for us, we’ve never been asked for it before - has anyone else had this?

We stayed on a campsite at lake Annecy and they asked to see pet passports. Just to check up to date with vaccinations etc. No photo copy taken just looked at.
