As we have moved, decided to update the address on the chip database for Tilly. £19.95!!!!

The punter updates online , not much involvement from the company... No wonder many dogs dont get back to their owners, daylight robery..

Takes 2 mins to change an address on a database.

A French vet found the original chip in our rescue dog, we contacted the company and were told there are 13 companies providing this service and they rarely contact each other, definitely not for lost dogs

You can change everything online except the address and they charge you for each pet, I told them to stuff it.

I know it is costly but the database has to be paid for, they get some money from the initial microchip set up bit I expect most of the income is from address changing, I look at it as just another cost of moving house, and most of those costs are inflated as well.
