Almost approaching average
Our thanks also to Derek and his entourage for brilliant organisation and having the willingness and drive to do this in difficult times. Lovely site too, although I did notice one blade of grass on our pitch was 2mm longer than the rest. Tut tut 😀

Just a tad..
‘Twas our first Rally and despite the obvious constraints to ‘normal service’ it was a great event. Serina and I met some loverly people, who were without exception, fantastically welcoming.

The organising ‘crew’ were phenomenal... what a team!!

look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Back home, washing on, and daily walk done. So, time to sit down and say what a brilliant week we had.

The weather was changeable, but on the days we could socialise, we did.

Us girls managed to bust some moves with Handsome Julio nearly every morning, and the hula hoops were out and twirling most days.

We missed the Plum Festival, but the company on the field more than made up for it. Most of us even managed to give Boris a helping hand, by relieving The Anchor at Wyre Piddle of their stocks of Rib Eye Steaks and cheesy chips!

I won nothing on the raffle, quiz or Lotto, but the chocolate orange more than made up for it - thanks Mary!

The gang of Emmit and Damelza pulled it off again, in challenging circumstances and in their usual, fantastic way.

Thanks to all Funsters, Old mates and new, and can't wait to do it all again at the end of the month! xx

We'd like to add our thanks to Derek and Mary and Malcolm & Teresa for this well organised and well run meet. Thanks for the drinks, chocolates and cakes, and especially the gluten free cake - much appreciated and enjoyed! Avon Bank, as always, is a fabulous well kept site, we had an excellent meal at the Anchor in Wyre Piddle and had some lovely walks in and around Pershore - super location.

Many thanks - well done!

Safe onward travels everyone (y)

Just to say thanks to the rally organisers and helpers, Derek, Mary, Malcolm and Teresa for all your organisation, drinks ,cakes and raffles etc for a really nice meet despite the changeable weather and lack of the Pershore Plumfest, (hopefully next year). For keeping us all in line, socially distanced and safe against covid.
Many thanks.:clap2::clap2:(y)

Big thanks to Derek, Mary, Teresa and Malcolm for all your effort in putting on this meet at this beautiful location.
Thanks for the red wine & muffins, and winning a couple of raffle prizes was a bonus, just a shame it was alcohol. :giggle:
See you again at the end of the month.(y)

Since May 05 (Ex Tuggers).
Pitched up at Canterbury P&R, and partook of meal and a couple of wets in the city. 😉

It's all been said by others, however Rita and I would like to add our thanks to Derek, Mary, Teresa and Malcolm, for all their efforts to make our week at Pershore a very pleasant and enjoyable one. Much appreciated. 👍

Cheers,

Jock and Rita. 🙂

We've been doing the Admin from the rally and are somewhat shocked to discover that,
as a result of Generous Donations received while on site, the Raffle, The Bonus Ball, Donations
made in lieu of Deposits returned and the Auction for the two tickets to the Overland Rally,
you have raised £711!!! that will be sent to Prostate Cancer UK.

As usual, when I receive the letter back from the Charity, I will publish it on the Pershore Plum Rally thread.

Once again, thanks to one and all.

Derek and Mary, Malcolm and Teresa

A belated return home from the 'Autumn at Avon Bank' temporary campsite found a long white envelope from Prostate Cancer UK.
The vast majority of this sum is from you, the attendees at 'Plum'.

Give yourselves a round of applause.
