Hope all is well in Morocco I bet you are showing them a thing or two ?
I don‘t have to be out of the country for a month or so Steve, I’m hoping everything will be back to normal by then, if not, wtf something will occur

Hope you are well stocked for your isolation in your van in Spain John, is there a guard on the gate with a subbie to stop you going out?

Here we go again!

THE ATTENDANCE LIST IS NOW OPEN!!!

STOP PRESS..... THE LIST IS NOW FULL. WE ARE TAKING NAMES FOR THE RESERVE LIST

We have great pleasure in once again inviting Funsters to the Pershore Plum Festival Rally 2020.

Read the 'stuff' at the bottom, ie Adults only, and No 'Third Party' bookings.

Location
: Avon Bank Meadows Rally Field, Mill Lane, Wyre Piddle, Worcestershire. WR10 2JF
This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club C.L with a rally field, (It's more like a manicured lawn). You do not need to be a member of the C&MC Club to attend the Rally

Avon Bank Meadows was awarded the Caravan and Motorhome Club CL of the Year 2018.
It's beside the River Avon which is navigable. Boating/kayaking/canoeing and fishing are allowed from the site.

It can be seen that the space available for this rally could be described as 'compact and bijoux'. I reluctantly therefore have to restrict attendees to Coachbuilt and A Class 'vans (and smaller). We cannot accommodate R.V.'s other than Class C (Think Jims 'Van)

AvonbankMeadowWR102JF007.jpg

The Rally starts at 12 noon on Monday 24th August 2020
finishing at 11.00am Tuesday 1st September 2020
There are 33 places available +2 for the Stewards.
THIS IS AN 8 NIGHT RALLY. (WE WILL ACCEPT 7 NIGHTS BUT THAT WILL INCLUDE THE NIGHT OF 31ST AUGUST)
The Cost for the Rally, (8 Nights) is £104, £13 per nt. to Include your Pitch with EHU. 7nts is £91

N.B. If you intend to go to the Malvern Show this year, please be advised that the Malvern 'Do' is a week earlier than previous years and therefore, you cannot 'Follow On' direct from that event to Pershore. ie. there is a week in between the two events

Wyre Piddle
is within easy walking distance, where there are two pubs, and buses to nearby towns.
Pershore is a flat, pleasant, one mile walk through meadows where the festival, entertainment and events take place. Pershore has an ASDA and numerous shops, bars and cafes.

Facilities: Although a basic site, Avon Bank has EHU for each attendee, TV Ariel sockets, and there are several water taps around the site. There are laundry facilities.
Access: Double gates from Mill Lane direct into Wyre Boatyard. Gravel driveway leading to the Rally Field.
Dogs: Dogs are welcome. They must be on leads or tethered on the rally field. There is ample provision for exercise off the site.
Generators: As there is EHU for all, No generators please.
There are no Toilet or Shower facilities on site.

Deposit: The Deposit of £10 is due when your Name has been transferred onto the list of attendees. (To be paid by Bank Transfer.)
Details of Transfer are as follows; Sort Code;40-47-63 Account No.18593930. in the name(s) D and M Booth.
This Account is with First Direct. Some Funsters have had problems in the past as their Bank's didn't recognise First Direct. In such circs. put in HSBC (FD'S Parent Co.)
THIS IS THE SAME ACCOUNT AS WAS USED FOR THE 2019 PLUM FESTIVAL RALLY.

The reference to be used for the transfer is your Funster name.

That way, your Deposit will be recognised by me. The remainder of the site fees to be paid in full by 1st August 2020 please
When you put your name down to attend, please provide your parties first name.

N.B. We appreciate that in a small number of cases there may be Funsters who have to cancel. The Deposit and Final Payment will be repaid if that place is filled by someone on the Reserve List. Otherwise the Deposit will be forfeited and that money will go to Charity.

ADULT ONLY
The Rally Field at Avon Bank Meadows is alongside and has unrestricted access to the River Avon which is deep. There is no objection to a child visiting with 'Day Visitors.'

THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS
I will not be accepting bookings from 'Third Parties' on this and any subsequent rallies. If you wish to attend with a mate, you will both, (or more) have to book in your own name.

To give a taste of what can be expected during the festival, here are some of the Highlights.

N.B. The vast majority of events taking place during the Festival are free

Bike Night: Bikers and their machines (Mopeds, Motorbikes, Choppers, Scooters descend from far and wide (in aid of 999 Charities) to procession through the town. (Thursday)
Classic Car Show; Over the BH Weekend
Plum Coach Tours; Guided tours
Flower Show.
The Big Plum Beer Food and Music Festival
Concerts
River Boat Trips

This is but a small example of things to see and do at what has been voted the best festival and event in Worcester for the past four years.

*********************************************************************************

In addition to the events taking place, we intend to treat all attendees to a Cornish Cream Tea, ( make your own decision as to whether the cream or Jam goes on first) and we will be introducing you all to 'Cornish Skittles'. There will be other 'Soirees' for the enjoyment of all.
There will be our book stall in aid of Prostate Cancer UK and Pin Badges will be on sale.
