Has anyone any suggestions for permanent mounting brackets (inside a gas locker with external door) for securing an 11kg refillable Gas Bottle?

The ones I have seen seem to have bolts to secure the bracket suggesting the need to drill through the walls of the locker. Given the gas locker is suppose to be air-tight to the habitation area how have others addressed this problem (sillicone maybe?) Would appreciate your thoughts.

If you get a Gas leak the gas will sink to the floor first of all as it is heavier than air , hence the vents in the Floor of the gas locker , but for peace of mind when i drilled our locker side wall i used a small blob if sealant to seal around the drilled holes.

I don't understand why you need to change the mounting nearly everyone uses the standard straps without any problems.

My van is german registered where refillable bottles require permanent mountings, loose straps aren't sufficient.

I have Gaslow and have used hook bolts that hook on the bottom flange of the bottle and then go through the gas looker floor.
I will post photos later.

Is this what you have been looking at , I can't see how mounting these would be much different to mounting the material strap retainers, the likelihood of gas escaping through the mounting very unlikely.

@Lenny HB those ebay straps look promising as do @Manic solution.
As I'm waiting for delivery of my van in May, could anyone tell me how wide most of the fabric straps are? (I'm wondering if I could simply replace the exiting fabric straps with GasIT Universal Straps, here:

Thanks again everyone!
