OK, I have tidied up the winning design, and turned it into a fully scaleable Vector graphic.:thumb: Does anyone have any comments before I get some prices for a pennant?

and one for me - (and a couple for sale on my stand at various shows?)

Did I really see someone say 36 inches x 18 inches - I thought this was a pennant - not a flaming ensign!

How big should they be? I don't know the difference between a pennant and an ensign::bigsmile: Any advance on 18 inches deep and a yard long?

18 inches deep by 36 inches long is a flag requiring a good strong pole in any kind of a wind over about force 3. :Eeek:

9 inches deep by 18 inches long is a pennant - attaches to the tip of your lance when on parade in Horseguards!

Whilst on the subject how about a back window sticker - along the lines of
"Motorhomers do it for fun"

together with the web address etc., etc.

Shouldn't be too expensive and much more widely seen than a flag!

The one in the thumbhail (all lower case letters) is nicer (IMNSHO) :thumb:

Even 18" long would take a bit of a battering and require a fairly strong staff, but I imagine too much smaller and nobody would see it.

Like the window sticker idea as well, though for me a repeat of the pennant would be preferable. The ".... do it ...." thing has been done to death by just about everybody else from surfers to ... oh all sorts!

Sorry it got big on me. Ooops did I really say that?

Looks fine to me.:thumb:

I, personally, would go with this.

Eye catching design and colours.

Works for me.

Pennants are usually around 12 ins long by 5 ins deep.
Are you talking about cloth pennants or vinyl ones as window stickers?

If vinyl window stickers you can put me down for one. ...... Ah what the heck, even if its a cloth one I'll still have one.::bigsmile:

i have a 30ft fibreglass pole on which i fly a 4ft long tubular novelty shark at the top and a 4ft x 3ft flag below that and have no probs as the pole is very flexible. i have enough confidence in it to fly a £25, 4ft wide canada goose as well at the next outing so i think the pennant/flag size is not a problem.:thumb: printed 'ripstop' nylonj is very light abd strong.

i like the idea of a window sticker but on the lines of the pennant cos, as jaydee said, the '...do it...' stickers are two a penny and no-one ever takes any notice of 'em.
