Pencelli Castle, nr Brecon (1 Viewer)

Had an unexpected opportunity to get away this weekend and of course we couldn't get in anywhere we wanted to go, took a chance and called Pencelli Castle and they had a cancellation.

What a great find! Apologies if you already know about this site, but it is lovely! Peaceful with great walking and cycling and spotlessly clean facilities, highly recommended :thumb:

We heard very good reports about the site but have never visited due to NO dogs allowed.

Yes, we've been there a couple of times. Very nice site. Toilets/showers VERY clean. Can recommend it. :thumb:

Oh yes, and there is a lovely pub about 150yds down the road, The Royal Oak, good food and a couple of real ales on tap too :thumb:

Were there a few years ago now, excellent site SWMBO raved about the shower block, flowers on the dressing tables or something like thatoh: a bit pricey but the food in the pub down the road was fantastic, lamb shanks best ever.:thumb:
