Got a slamming down here yesterday with loads of trees down a waves crashing.

We are on the 2nd day without electricity.

This is when all the MH gadgets come into play. Watched Netflix and cooked on van last night. All phones charged. Nice hot shower. All the contents of fridge and freezer moved to MH fridge and currently running another compressor fridge off the Victron Inverter. All good as sun shinning now and solar kicking in.

The mifi is running great so internet buzzing along.

My point is that all the grief I have had over the years for purchasing gadgets for the MH from the missus has now been forgiven. Need to think about next gadget purchase whilst I a ahead

What keeps going through my mind is (although I'm too old and do not expect to be affected) what will happen in the future IF climate change makes the weather worse and we ALL go fully electric???

The Aboriginal's (or Motorhomer's) will take over the world!

Only this week they were discussing on Jeremy Vine and other news about getting rid of wood burners. That’s all well and good but that has been our main heat source for the last two days.

Plenty of logs here as well with the amount of trees that are down.

Hubby took the dogs to the local park/swale earlier and there was a tree which has been blown down (cracked trunk), by the time he got back after the walk a chap was there with his saw bench, trailer etc chopping it up for logs!

Electricity back up and running but l cannot believe that we are in the middle of another storm.

Lesson learnt. Make sure the hot water tank is full of hot water and plenty of logs in store.

Yes was a bit blowy again last night in Pembrokeshire, wasn't it? Easing off now and the sun shining so about to head out onto the coast path with the dog to blow the cobwebs away after becoming a bit stir crazy stuck inside with three days of pretty foul weather.

We used to get loads of power cuts here so I keep a tin with candles and spare batteries in for an emergency, went through it last night to see if all was ok, no batteries and no lighter for the candles and as both of give up smoking years ago we have no way of producing a naked flame so cant light the candles anyway

Gave me a chance to light all those candles from Christmas. The house smelt like a boudoir.

Funny you should say that. I drained the van down yesterday again of water after power switched back on.

Went for a run this morning and went to go for a shower……no water. What’s going on??

Just had a text off Welsh Water. Oh well, I will just have to be smelly today!

No power or water outages for us near Tenby. In fact only a couple of miles from kilgettyblade !
The wind had dropped completely when I took the dog out an hour ago.
