Did anybody watch the Link Removed? They showed a Pedal Powered Generator, it might be a way of keeping fit & keeping your batteries topped up :RollEyes:. I know it's not going to boil a kettle or run your microwave but for something that has no running costs & keeps you active it might be worth looking at :Eeek:

I did a search on google for pedal powered generators & ther seems to be loads around.

I seem to remember, years ago, in Australia, outlying stations would have a similar device, (like an up-turned bike) to power the two-way radio.

With the force you could apply to that unstable gadget my guess would be it would take 20 hours to put a decent amount into you battery.

Whatever turns you on. I find pulling the gennie starter enough frantic activity :Smile:
