After reading some posts in this forum and, a bit of research, we are looking to move away from Sat based TV and install a 4G system, this one seems to be well thought of...

However, being luddites we wonder how, or if we would be able to "channel surf" live TV (Freeview), similar to the Freeview, Sky or Virgin TV listings? (We won't be signed up to Sky or Virgin, see below)

We've got Amazon Prime, but find the offerings limited. Looking at Netflix and NowTV, NowTV (Entertainment) seems to offer us more of what we'd be interested in.

What services do you use, and are there any apps that you find useful ?

Any other advice regards transitioning from "Live" to "Streamed" greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Chris, Bannock and Red.

Getting there!
We can find more than enough tv content using a smart tv, chrome cast and amazon fire stick. Connection usually by tethered to a mobile phone or mifi on 3 if no EE or O2 on the phones. Have prime and Netflix. There’s so many apps and ways of getting tv on line. Don’t use sat much at all now.

Can the fire stick be used in Europe or just UK?

We've seen posts about a 100Gb Voda deal for £20/24, is this still available as we can't see it on the Voda site?

Can the fire stick be used in Europe or just UK?

From other posts I've read the Firestick can be used in other Countries.

Cheers
Chris, Red and Bannock.

If you use Three as your mobile provider, they have Go Binge which means watching Netflix [subscription required] doesn't use any of your data allowance.

I'm sure other providers do similar.
