Hi any person with NIESMANN bischoff arto69 a class 2003 can give me ruf I’d of pay load on 3500 van also any faults to look for thanks ken

400KG according to a quick Google search, obviously depends on extras fitted.

I would say close to Zero with some options, the brochure shows 3850kg MTPLM so check plating, MIRO as standard is 3298kg.

Things to look out for,

The garage floor is about the only wood in an Arto so check that area for damp, check the condition of cab double glazing as they can/do blow and are expensive to get fixed.

Thanks for reply I thought that was the case so relay need to up grade to3850 or 4t

Is it currently plated at 3500kg and has it always been that way? or has it been downplated?

We have same Arto 69GL(2003) and 3500kg is not feasible. We upgraded to 3850kg; is your revenue weight was that already or do you have a MPLM of 3500kg. We had 3850k Revenue weight and no entry for MPLM, but was plated at 3500kg, so we asked N&B for a plate at 3850kg, no problem.

To go to 4000kg requires airride and maybe new tyres.

We find with two of us, full tanks and 2 bikes 3850 is workable for wildcamping.

Thanks for MIRO - I was looking for it for re-registration. I would have just made it up as I am sure the reg office would not know any different on a N&B in Poland.

I presume since you quoted the German price list in your link that it is not available in English. I have some of the info in there in other forms but not all, incl. MIRO and price. I have bookmarked it but would still have to translate a lot.

Thanks.

Geoff

Ok so 4t is to expensive to do but 3850 is just paper exercise and will give ab 400 pay load thanks

4t might only need rear air assist and tyres (if ones fitted not rated high enough) if on maxi chassis
Not too expensive
