Photocopies in the "safe place" in the van and details also with a couple of family members.I would say it’s more important to also have a photocopy of the main page with your details, passport number etc. keep it separate from your original and also take a picture on your phone. this really helps fast track you back home if you loose your original and have to contact the authorities.
Mine is fixed and awkward to get at so not something you'd be able to attack quickly, even if you knew where it is.Last mh we had a safe but not convinced this just draws attention to where the valuables may be. Also forcibly removing one would cause extensive damage. This mh does not have a safe so just put things in an unlikely place and keep copies.
ID card = Scottish Bus Pass ?????? It's also my library card and local council services card. It has my photo and a number that may (or may not) link it to a database here in Scotland. It's always been accepted without issue as an ID card.Don't forget that in some countries it is a legal requirement to carry ID on one's person, but for UK Residents without ID cards that legally means one has to carry passports.
I now have a Polish ID card in my wallet, but before I only carried my Driving Licence hoping that would suffice - alongside my honest face.
Good idea as I doubt you would get any grief as long as you kept your weight within your licence categories........ but before I only carried my Driving Licence hoping that would suffice
How true!Puddleduck all you need now is a bus service
Have been using the buses and train again but try to avoid school run times.I am sorry to say I have not yet made use of the service due to covid concerns.
I used the train from Berwick to get to my Mum's a couple of weeks ago. The first train (East Coast Main Line) was fine, loads of space - actually only 3 of us in the carriage. The second (local) train was standing room only and I felt very vulnerable as I was the only one with a mask and loads of people coughing and sneezingHave been using the buses and train again but try to avoid school run times.
