    Ordered my renewel PP on the 9 September (part done on line) new one arrived 16 September.

    Well done the Passport Office.

    Me too did it all on line and only took a week for the ne Passports to arrive. (y)

    Not really surprising. They are no longer having to deal with the masses of people who left it until the last minute to apply earlier this year and then expected an instant response.

    Might also be the fact that the Gov is thinking of bringing them back under Home Office Control

    it was nine week's for my renewal and they misplaced my original documents.
    sent my application in in April got it back end of June
    original docks turned up last Monday
    with a letter of apology
