Just tried to stop on this aire - gates closed, and they said on their intercom they were shut (very abruptly!). Despite this there were several vans on the aire, which didn’t look like storage vans. However, they have confirmed via Facebook they are now closed permanently, so don’t waste your time going!
Something a bit odd about this - we tried to stay last autumn (not December, when they are usually shut) and the same Closed sign was up then, but no vans on. Several reviews on Campercontact since, though.
