I'm taking my M/H to Malton Yorkshire and exploring the area are the roads M/H friendly what about parking in Whitby and surrounding area's

If you are going to Whitby before 3 November use the park & ride as it is much easier when the town is busy. If later, details of individual car parks specify whether they are suitable for motorhomes.

We were in Whitby last year but in the Mustang as we didn't have a motorhome then. There was lots of pay and display street parking along North Terrace and other roads. You can check it out on Google Street View.

As an aside to the above post.
Pay & display is between 9am and 6pm Mon to Sat and 12 noon to 6pm sunday...outside these hours parking is free.
If you were to purchase a two hour ticket at, say, 5pm it would expire at 10am the next day....a 3 hour ticket at 11am.

DISC parking on other streets is by cardboard time disc and are available in shops etc.

Harbour carparks are a rip off.
