Does anyone have advice on parking a motorhome in Leicester, fairly central, on a Sunday?

Not much parking in the city centre for a Motorhome and the park and ride near me is shut on Sunday and has a height barrier you would be best to find a quiet street on the outskirts and catch the bus in to town.

What about the Nat Space Centre or De Montfort Hall. Haven't tried them yet as our previously planned itinerary changed but they looked promising.

Thank you for the replies. De Montfort has nearby parking for £1 on a Sunday, according to Park4Night, so we’ll investigate that.

I suspect that won’t be possible unless you can fit in a single bay. If not, you could ring the Council to see if you can pay for two bays if you need them.

Another option worth considering is on-street parking in Victoria Park Road (the other side of the park from the car park you are considering) from where you could walk or catch a bus into the city centre.

It used to be possible to park on street on the A6 next to Victoria Park but they installed parking meters a few years ago. I’m not sure if they charge on Sundays.
