has anybody parked at the sea life centre at Scalby Mills Scarborough recently? Parked there last year over night with no issues and going to Scarborough in mid November. The council site says no overnight so just wondering if this gets overlooked

This is the council web page for Scalby Mills car park. Note "No sleeping or overnight camping".
Whether one would get away with it I can't say.
There is also the consideration that (as seen in other parts of the country) the more such restrictions are flouted the higher the likelihood of height barriers.

You pay`s your Money??. (or not) Scarborough has a "reputation" for not being M-H friendly BUT to be fair they did suffer a lot of indiscriminate "wild camping" in the past?. Which pissed the locals off, and gave "ammunition" to the camp site owners to lobby for greater "control". Some what like Bridlington too in recent times. I think "suck it and see" would be the best (only?) advice, it`s out of season so the seasonal "Hitler`s" may have been "laid off" for the Winter?

When we were in Scarborough October 2015 we saw 3 MOHOs had overnighted in that car park. We were actually staying at the c&cc site nearby but walked through this car park with the dog.
Unfortunately one idiot in a gold hymer decided to empty the contents of his grey waste tank and the very smelly water was running accross the car park in full view of everyone.

I'm saying nowt !
except most of the parking officers are East European with a smattering of English.

You can't argue with someone who can't understand you.
