Paloma water heater (1 Viewer)

Can anyone help please , the water heater works fine,ignites,heats etc but the knob to turn heat up is on setting 2 and doesn't seem to want to turn up or down and I don't want to force it incase I knacker it totally! Any words of wisdom ?

If it alters the temperature by adjusting the water flow via that switch, you might need to strip the valve down as the one on my combi boiler had seized solid because I had never had the need to alter it.

Thanks will try that then, yes it's like it's solid ! 2 setting gives only lukewarm water.

i had a vailant water heater the same take the knob of and see if there is a gland nut if yes you can loosen that if no its wd and slow movements to try and free it
