It is minimum wage but has other perks, free pitch etc. We are more than happy with the money we make in the season.
Overall I think the good outways the bad.
Many wardens work far in excess of 4 hours.
Our days are from 8 to 12 hours each so it adds up quite nicely.
We can earn 20K plus with little outgoings it is possible to save quickly.
We enjoy the atmosphere during the season and are free to travel in the winter period.
Yes but they had to get their qualifications at Oxford, you’re a Canterbury qualifier. Haha4 hours a day isn’t much work is it?
Even at minimum wage, with everything free except food, not a bad life for a couple that still want to work!!
It’s def something I would consider later in life if my circumstances havnt changed!! X
I think it's more of a lifestyle choice, than a 'job' per se?
