P&O Ferry booking cancellation - worth noting (1 Viewer)

We've just had to cancel our ferry booking with P&O for a forthcoming Europe trip (next week) due to a change of holiday plans.

It's worth noting that even with their highly inflexible Saver ticket they still agreed to extend our credit for a further 6 months against a future booking, rather than just taking the money and running, as per the T&Cs.

However they didn't volunteer this information - I had to ask. Sometimes it pays to be cheeky.

I am getting braver as I get older. As a youngster I wouldn't say boo to a hen never mind a goose.

We ordered new furniture a month back and after working out a deal the salesman asked if we would be signing that day (last Saturday of the month = commission based bonus possibly). I said knock another £x off and then yes...... and he did!!!!!! New furniture due in June so we need to get decorating before then. I have the paint.
