Alcocebre is the target from Calais Ferry Port. November 21st start...

Non toll route being planned...... So A20/N20? Or A10/N10? Or down the middle?

Suggestions. I fancy the Somport rather than each side of the Pyrennes? Anyone done it that late in the year?

Cheers

Somport, no problem, you could encounter early snowfalls...with the way Global weather is who knows...checking before travelling is wise...
Also check which Spanish motorways are now free...many are...

We are in Mazarron at the moment, came along west coast of France then through Somport tunnel then across Spain. All was done toll free, you would need to keep an eye on the weather as when we were travelling home from Spain last year there was snow at the end of October near Jaca. Also, not sure but I think you may need to carry snow chains or have winter tyres on.

we haven't been through Somport in November but have in December and in February, if anyside is shut it's morelikely to be the French side in which case Irun will probably be clear.
