Was in the pet lounge last Monday so couldn't tell you. Ferry wasn't packed but most people seemed to have BK with them. That was Spirit of Britain.

We travelled on P&O in Aug/Sept but were in the fancy lounge but it had full service hot meals so I would imagine the normal restaurants were open as normal. I don’t see why they wouldn’t be.

If it’s anything like the Hull route I would give it a miss. We used to book the Brasserie on every crossing. We have crossed 3 times this year and all 6 visits the food and service has been shocking. We are booked again next month and shall slum it in the other restaurant to see if it’s any better. We have moved from DFDS North Shields route to P&O due to the ferry size. We feel the DFDS ferry is just too tight for us, we are more relaxed with the car deck on the P&O service.
