Oyster wont log on to astra (1 Viewer)

Hi guys oyster ok in october gone to bagwell farm today oyster wont log on to astra 2 any ideas have got no restriction of view may need soft ware update kind regards steve could be an anthony job happy new year to u all

Check your LNB arm is in the correct position. They can stick with little use.
Just a thought.

In eight years, I have only had to update the settings once in our Oyster, and certainly not recently, so I doubt it’s that.

I had to update mine a couple of months ago as it would not lock on. Oyster themselves @Anthony OysterTech were simply first class in giving first email advice and then telephone advice on resetting the whole thing. Obviously that isn't going to happen over the next few days due to the holidays but worth a call next week if you are still having issues. As you say, probably an Anthony job.......

28.2°e........approx 17° elevation (from memory) depending where you are

Weymouth to Astra 2 is approx compass bearing 141°. Or 39° east of south. Elevation 17° as mentioned above.
