Oyster Vision Dish (1 Viewer)

Hi all

We are at Newbury Retro at the mo and just put the dish up.

For some onknown reason it won't lock on to Astra 2 and it's driving me nuts.

I've checked all the connections put the leading thing up and down round and round it went but nothing.

I tried Astra 4 also Hotbird and it locked on but I presume we can't use those.

I hate it when things won't work or I can't fix them.

Any pointers please????

Hmm 2a is on the same latitude. Can you get that? If so manually move it anti-clockwise to get 2e.

If you use search box at top of this page and input "oyster tel" it pulls up one thread. The last reply has oyster support number. I have found them really helpful. Similar happened to me and they talked me through it.

Gave it a whirl and it came back with no updates available so thats me stumped now unless I use the other info as suggested on here.

What I don't want to do is cock something up and not be able to fix it

if it locks to astra 1 the lnb and oyster are working. you need to enter a new frequency for the transponder
