Looking at buying a second hand oyster sat vision dish. What is the difference between version 2 and 3. How can the unit be tested if it has already been removed from the motorhome. Any advice would be useful.

Is it 65cm or 85cm
And what year is it

I think the Oyster 3 can be upgraded via a sim card.

I dont know which year but it is the 85 cm dish

You can test it by connecting it to a 12v battery and to a decoder/TV.

Press the dish up button and it should do its stuff


If the seller isn't willing to do that, walk away (then buy mine!!)
