I have a oyster 3 auto skew 85cm dish on my motorhome.
The motorhome is parked on the driveway in front of my house so when it is parked on the drive the house stops the dish from locking on because it is in the way so no line of site just keeps turning.
My question is can you stop the dish when it is up so i can clean the dish and roof without moving the motorhome hope this makes sense.
Any info from oyster owners or technical minded funsters appreciated.

I think pressing the "tick" button to access the menu system should stop it.

You could drive across the road let it lock on, then disconnect the power (so it can't retract) and drive back with it up.

when it's up and searching switch off the power to the dish

Pressing the tick stops the dish, this is how you "manually search"

If your oyster is installed correctly, the "put it up and reverse method" won't work, as the dish should park when you turn your ignition on.

Agree i think the dish comes down when engine is started safety thing I will try pressing the tick tonight thanks

I have just tried mine. Pressing "tick" button so display reads "Main Menu" definetly works.

Full instructions here. If you can't get the menu you need a software update. If you have the software update you can reprogram it yourself.
