Oyster dish (1 Viewer)

we have just bought a new to us motothome with an Oyster sat dish on the roof when I switch on it come up and spins around looking for Astra 2 but does not lock on am I doing something wrong?

Have you got some large trees or building between you and the satellite?

We in a cul de sac with houses both sides of the van but no trees close

Where do I get it updated

I had the same problem and had to ring their technical which took me through re-doing the co-ordinates while on the phone. It took around 10 mins but it is now spot on

It may be an old system that does not have the revised Astra2 identification details.
Can you get any other satellite?

Sorry I’m not very technical on how to get other satellites how do I get it search others?

Ring oyster, 01858 575928. They are very helpful
on the phone.
Have sorted me out before now.

Best to be in front of the kit when you ring if possible.

I would think if you are parked between two houses and you have not got a clear view to South/east that’s your problem just try moving out into the open and try setting up again

Hi Anthony no still struggling with it everything seems to be set up for Astra 2 just won’t lock on do you have a number I can contact you on?
